AARRR (Pirate Metrics)

This Skill addresses the problem of teams blaming each other and lacking a unified analytical framework when growth stagnates. In practice, product, marketing, and sales teams often argue about "whose fault it is," but no one can pinpoint exactly where the funnel breaks. The AARRR framework breaks growth down into five sequential stages—Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, and Revenue—helping teams identify the true bottleneck and avoid wasting resources on the wrong areas.

Using it is simple: just tell the AI, "Our growth has stalled" or "Pirate Metrics," and it will automatically enter Coach Mode or Engine Mode. In Coach Mode, it guides you step-by-step to define specific activation events (e.g., "completed first core action"), calculate conversion rates for each stage, and waits for you to provide data before proceeding. Ultimately, it outputs the identified bottleneck and a practical experiment suggestion.

It is particularly suitable for product managers, data analysts, and marketing specialists who need data-driven growth decisions. This is especially relevant for SaaS, e-commerce, or content products that already have a certain user base (hundreds or more) but face flattening growth curves and internal attribution disputes. For early-stage projects without users, the Lean Startup method is recommended.

It is advised to use this tool when a relatively complete data tracking system is already in place to accurately define and measure events at each stage. Note that it primarily relies on data provided by the user; if activation events are vaguely defined or the sample size is too small, the analysis results may lose reference value. When the bottleneck is already obvious, fix it directly first, then return to the framework for systematic optimization.
