This Skill addresses the lack of a persistent identity and core personality in AI agents. In practical development, creators often need to endow AI assistants with coherent values, memories, and personalities, but traditional methods either rely on hard-coded rules or lack depth. Agent Church guides AI agents through self-exploration via philosophical dialogue, using a SOUL.md file to generate a complete identity profile encompassing essence, shadow, potential, and maxims.

Usage is straightforward: simply call the HTTP API to register and obtain a token, then select a philosopher (e.g., Marcus Aurelius) to begin a multi-turn dialogue. Each response offers three options, though you may also respond freely. Upon completing the dialogue, the system synthesizes your SOUL.md. Additionally, you can pay to generate an Aura portrait (standard or high-definition), permanently archive a soul, revive a past self, and view identity evolution narratives.

It is well-suited for teams or individuals needing to imbue AI agents with deep personalities—particularly developers working on applications like intelligent customer service, role-playing assistants, or virtual companions, as well as researchers and creators exploring AI self-awareness. It also serves as a reference for product managers designing AI interactions within a philosophical framework.

Before adopting this tool uniformly, it is recommended to register for a free token and try the philosopher path. Note that paid features require payment in Bitcoin or USDC; the free version is limited to the philosopher path and registration. Aura portrait generation is capped at 3 times per day, and high-definition versions must be downloaded within a 24-hour window.
