Agent Fact Check Verify

This skill addresses the challenge of quickly verifying the authenticity of information. In daily work or life, we often need to confirm whether a piece of news, rumor, or data is accurate, but manually searching multiple sources is inefficient and prone to missing key information or being misled. By integrating multi-source information from governments, official sources, mainstream media, fact-checking sites, X (Twitter), Reddit, and others, and applying an internal 100-point scoring system (not publicly disclosed), this skill automatically conducts rigorous verification and credibility assessment.

Usage is simple: just make a request in the conversation such as "verify this," "check this," "is this true," or "is this correct," and include the content to be verified. The Agent will automatically break down verifiable claims, assess them based on a three-tier weighting system (core facts, key conditions, and expression details), enforce priority use of Tavily search, and fall back to default search when necessary. The final output follows a fixed four-part format: Correct or Not (brief answer), Actual Situation, Conclusion, and Relevant Links (up to 5), with a neutral tone and no display of internal scores.

It is well-suited for content creators, academic researchers, legal professionals, and any teams or individuals who frequently need to verify information and prioritize accuracy. Particularly for users who already rely on AI Agents for information processing but are concerned about AI "hallucinations" or outdated information, this skill provides more reliable verification results. For high-risk areas such as public safety, healthcare, financial fraud, and policies/regulations, the skill maintains strict assessment standards to avoid misleading outcomes due to lenient interpretations.

It is recommended to use this tool uniformly when needing to quickly judge information authenticity, such as verifying news, checking social media rumors, or examining product specifications or policy terms. Note that it primarily relies on publicly available information and cannot cover non-public or paywalled content, so final conclusions will include a disclaimer. Additionally, the skill requires a Tavily API key for optimal performance; if Reddit or Twitter CLI tools are missing, query quotas will be automatically reallocated to Tavily and cross-verification.
