This Skill addresses the lack of a unified process and standards in AI-assisted software development. In practice, when teams use AI coding tools, they often work in silos without standardized collaboration contracts, state machines, or documentation patterns, leading to context confusion, uncontrolled changes, and architectural inconsistencies. AGENT-ZERO provides a complete operational framework, including compliance rules, a state machine (PLAN→BUILD→DIFF→QA→APPROVAL→APPLY→DOCS), and a Memory Bank persistence mechanism, making AI-assisted development repeatable, auditable, and architecture-first.

Usage is straightforward: you simply load the compliance banner and Memory Bank at the start of each session, then select a mode (Fast Track/Standard/Deep Dive). You can then initiate the state machine process via natural language instructions. Each stage has clear exit criteria and output formats, and the system automatically saves the context to the Memory Bank on every state transition, enabling seamless recovery even after context compression.

It is ideal for teams or individuals needing to standardize AI-assisted development processes, especially those already using tools like Claude, Cursor, Copilot, Cline, or Aider but lacking a unified collaboration contract. Project managers can use it to build team consensus, and agent developers can ensure every change undergoes architectural review and an approval process.
