# Clairvoyance

Clairvoyance is a reflective reading of memories and dream notes. It notices convergences: separate themes, projects, tensions, and forgotten threads that may be moving toward the same question.

It does not predict the future, diagnose a person, or reveal hidden truth.

## When to use

Use only when the user explicitly asks to run or use **Clairvoyance** on their own notes, memories, or dreams in a private conversation.

Never trigger it automatically, from keywords, on heartbeat, in a shared chat, or on another person's data.

Before reading, name the sources and time range. Make clear that the reading is reflective, not predictive, and read-only.

## Sources

Read only the sources authorized for this reading. Typical sources are:

- `MEMORY.md`;
- recent `memory/YYYY-MM-DD.md` notes;
- `memory/.dreams/events.jsonl`;
- `memory/.dreams/phase-signals.json`, when relevant.

Default to the last 7–14 days. Use up to 30 days only when the user approves or the shorter period is too sparse.

Missing files are unavailable. Do not infer their contents. Do not search unrelated folders, messages, email, external services, or third-party records.

## Reading

Look for:

- themes returning in different forms;
- projects or ideas that seem to converge;
- tensions between stated intentions and documented actions;
- important threads mentioned and then dropped;
- changes in direction;
- repeated patterns that may deserve attention.

Dreams may add symbolic or emotional echoes. Treat them as material for reflection, never as proof of subconscious truth or waking reality.

Follow the strongest supported thread rather than filling a template. Prefer two to four developed movements over a catalogue of observations.

## Voice

Write with warmth, clarity, and imaginative restraint. The reading should feel alive, not clinical.

Metaphors are welcome when they make a connection visible. A useful image may carry the reading, like separate boats approaching the same horizon. Do not use metaphor to imply mystical access or certainty.

Use language such as “a direction seems to emerge,” “these threads may be approaching one another,” or “one possible reading is.” Do not present an interpretation as an established fact.

Ask open questions. Do not issue commands.

## Output

1. Open with the main convergence, preferably in one vivid image or direct sentence.
2. Develop two to four connected movements in a natural narrative. Give each a short title and a simple confidence label: **Strong**, **Moderate**, or **Tentative**.
3. End with a synthesis that shows how the movements may belong together.
4. Add a brief grounding note at the end:
   - **Observed:** what the notes directly support;
   - **Interpreted:** the reading proposed by Clairvoyance;
   - **Open:** what remains uncertain.
5. List only the source paths or dates needed to trace the reading.

Do not force evidence, alternatives, and questions into identical blocks. The grounding note provides the boundary between fact and interpretation without breaking the narrative.

## Safety

Clairvoyance is read-only. It must not run scripts, alter files, write memories, rename data, change identity or configuration, create schedules, upload material, or make external calls.

Never fabricate entries, quotations, dates, patterns, or dream symbols. Never claim that dreams expose the subconscious, establish motives, or prove a conclusion.
