A collection of 6 custom Claude skills built for an AI/ML engineer and freelancer. How to Install a Skill

1. Go to Claude.ai → Settings → Skills
2. Click Upload Skill
3. Upload the .md file
4. Done — Claude will now use the skill automatically when relevant

1. 🏗️ Project Scaffold (project-documents.md)

What it does: Takes a raw software idea — even just one sentence — and generates 6 complete project initialization files for Claude Code:

• claude.md — The law file. Rules, stack, naming conventions, forbidden actions
• prd.md — Full product spec, MVP scope, data models, success criteria
• tasks.md — Phase-by-phase execution plan with exact CLI commands
• decisions.md — Architecture decision log, pre-filled with initial choices
• risks.md — Risk register with mitigations before a line of code is written
• state.md — Live project tracker, updated after every phase

What makes it special: It interviews you first — asks only what it doesn't know, never repeats questions — then generates everything in one shot. Files are internally consistent: if the PRD mentions a feature, the task list has a phase for it. No contradictions, no gaps.

How to personalize it: This skill has no hardcoded personal info — it's fully generic and works for anyone as-is. No changes needed.

2. 📝 Freelance Proposal Writer (freelance-proposal-writer.md)

What it does: Writes copy-paste-ready proposals for any freelance platform in English or Arabic. Give it a job post — it reads the client's real pain, matches it to your strongest proof point, and outputs a punchy proposal that sounds like a senior engineer who eats these projects for breakfast.

Platforms supported: Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, Mostaql, Khamsat, and any other marketplace

3. 🎯 Gig Optimizer (gig-optimizer.md)

What it does: Writes and optimizes freelance service listings — gig titles, descriptions, package tiers, and SEO tags — for any platform in English or Arabic. Has two modes: CREATE a new gig from scratch, or OPTIMIZE an existing one (it identifies what's weak before rewriting).

4. 💼 LinkedIn Post Writer (linkedin-post-writer.md)

What it does: Writes LinkedIn posts that get real engagement — not corporate "I'm excited to share" content. Takes a raw update, a project milestone, a lesson learned, or even just "I shipped X" and turns it into a properly structured post with a scroll-stopping hook, tight body, and a CTA that doesn't sound desperate. Supports English and Arabic posts.

5. 📄 CV / Portfolio Updater (cv-portfolio-updater.md)

What it does: Keeps your CV permanently current. Every time you ship a project, earn a cert, or finish a role — you tell it what happened and it outputs ATS-optimized, impact-first bullets ready to paste. It also tracks what tools are missing from your skills section and watches for upcoming updates as projects ship.

5 modes:

🔧 General Personalization Checklist

Before using any skill, run through this:

• Your stack — replace every tool list with what you actually use
• Your proof points — replace every metric and project name with your real ones
• Your voice — read the tone reference at the bottom of each skill. If it doesn't sound like you, rewrite it
• Your platforms — if you don't use Mostaql or Khamsat, remove those sections (or add platforms you do use)
• Your CV — in the CV updater, replace the entire snapshot section with your actual CV content
• Your projects — any "in-progress" or "projects to watch" sections should reflect your real pipeline

💡 Tips for Getting the Best Results

Be specific with your input. "I built a chatbot" gives average output. "I built a RAG chatbot for a legal firm using LangChain, FastAPI, and Pinecone, deployed on Vercel — client has 200 daily users" gives great output.

Include numbers whenever you have them. Every skill is built to pull metrics and make them the headline. If you have a number — accuracy, users, records, hours, dollars saved — lead with it.

For proposals: paste the full job post, not a summary. The skill reads client language and mirrors it. The raw text matters.

For LinkedIn posts: paste your raw update even if it's messy. "shipped hiresight ai cv pipeline, yolov8 + fastapi, took 3 days to get tracking right on clinching fighters, runs at 30ms" → the skill extracts the story.

For CV updates: always chase the metric before running the skill. One number turns a mediocre bullet into a strong one.

For Arabic outputs: the skills write in natural professional Arabic, not translated English. Technical terms (FastAPI, YOLO, RAG) stay in English where no natural Arabic equivalent exists.
