# Information Security Management System (ISMS)

A comprehensive security management platform with AI integration using Model Context Protocol (MCP).

## Getting Started

### Prerequisites

- Python 3.8+
- PostgreSQL
- Qdrant

### Installation

1. Clone the repository:
   ```bash
   git clone https://github.com/karthikkrs/ISMS-MCP-Project.git
   cd ISMS-MCP-Project
   ```

2. Create and activate virtual environment:
   ```bash
   python -m venv .venv
   source .venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: .venv\Scripts\activate
   ```

3. Install dependencies:
   ```bash
   pip install -r requirements.txt
   ```

4. Set up environment variables:
   ```bash
   cp .env.example .env
   # Edit .env with your configuration
   ```

5. Initialize the database:
   ```bash
   python init_db.py
   ```

6. Run the application:
   ```bash
   uvicorn main:app --reload
   ```

Once the application is running, visit:
