Any x402-aware client ([`@x402/fetch`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@x402/fetch), [`x402-agent-tools`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/x402-agent-tools), ATXP) handles the 402 -> sign -> retry cycle automatically.

### `finance_get_stock_price`

Use this when you need a real-time stock price quote. Returns market data for any ticker symbol in JSON.

**Parameters**

| `symbol` | string | yes | Stock ticker symbol (e.g. AAPL, TSLA, MSFT, GOOG) |

**When to use**: portfolio monitoring, financial analysis, building stock dashboards, price alerts, and investment research.

**Not for**: crypto prices (use `finance_get_token_price`), currency conversion (use `finance_convert_currency`), weather data (use `data_get_weather`).
