This Skill addresses the tedious manual work in accounting, such as handling double-entry bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, month-end closing, financial statement preparation, and tax filing. In practice, finance professionals often spend significant time verifying transaction records, adjusting account discrepancies, and compiling reports—a process prone to errors and time-consuming. This Skill automates these repetitive tasks.

Usage is straightforward: simply configure the local directory structure (e.g., ~/Clawic/data/accountant/) and then describe transactions or operations using natural language commands. For example, tell the AI, "Record this month's sales revenue to the main business income account," and it will automatically encode the entry and update the ledger. Say, "Reconcile this month's bank statement," and it will read the bank records, perform matching, and output a discrepancy analysis. All data is stored locally on your machine, ensuring privacy and security.

It is well-suited for finance personnel, accountants, and tax filers who handle daily bookkeeping, as well as entrepreneurs managing accounts for multiple projects or companies. Teams already using local files for financial data management can integrate seamlessly without migrating existing data.

It is recommended to set up the chart of accounts and initial balances before starting, and to back up local data regularly.
